小川哲央作陶、穴窯焼成「オーロラ織部」徳利、2026年夏の新作です。

本来は緑色に焼き上がる織部に独自の焼成技法を施し、まるでオーロラのような複雑な色彩を生み出した小川哲央先生のオリジナル作品です。

本作は、深みのある織部の緑を基調に、茶褐色や紫がかった色合いが大胆に現れ、窯変による豊かな景色を見せています。長時間の還元焼成によって生まれた、一点ものならではの味わい深い徳利です。

Tetsuou Ogawa's anagama-fired Aurora Oribe Tokkuri (Sake Bottle), a new work from Summer 2026.

Aurora Oribe is Ogawa's original style, created by applying a unique firing technique to Oribe glaze, which normally produces a rich green color, to evoke the complex, shimmering colors of the aurora borealis.

This piece features deep Oribe green alongside beautiful shades of brown and subtle purple tones, creating a rich and varied surface through the effects of the kiln. The long reduction firing brings out a distinctive, expressive character that makes this Tokkuri truly one of a kind.
