光藤 佐作陶　赤絵十草 めし碗です。 Rice bowl with 10 grasses in red painting made by Tasuku Mitsufuji. 十草（とくさ）とは縦縞模様の事を指し、木賊（とくさ）がルーツ。 まっすぐに伸びるその姿から、成長や繁栄を願う験担ぎとして江戸時代から愛される文様で、縁起のいいめし碗です。 "Tokusa" refers to the vertical stripe pattern, which has its roots in "tokusa" (Equisetum hyemale).
