小川 哲央作陶、穴窯焼成 オーロラ織部片口です。 “Aurora Oribe” Katakuchi (pouring vessel) made by Tetsuou Ogawa, fired in an anagama kiln. オーロラ織部は、普通に焼いて緑色にしか焼けないはずの織部の焼き方に変化を与えることで、まるで七色に煌めくオーロラが浮かび上がる小川先生のオリジナル作品です。 Aurora Oribe is an original creation by Ogawa, achieved by altering the standard Oribe firing technique—which typically produces only a green glaze—to evoke the appearance of a shimmering, multicolored aurora emerging on the surface. オーロラは、通常の織部とは異なり、還元焼成と長時間の焼き入れにより偶然に現れます。本作品は、織部グリーンとトルコブルーの競演に、茶色く焼成した別の顔がが見られます。 Aurora Oribe, unlike regular Oribe, appears accidentally through reduction firing and prolonged glazing.
