黄瀬戸は、美濃（主に土岐市）の伝統的な焼き物のひとつで、本作品は、黄瀬戸の特徴である、膽礬（たんばん）、抜け膽礬が綺麗に現れています。
Kiseto is a type of traditional pottery from Mino (mainly Toki City), and this piece beautifully showcases the distinctive features of Kiseto: tanpan (copper green glaze) and nuke-tanpan (exposed tanpan effect).
