土岐市で長い歴史のある白山窯 山田 正和作陶、鼠志野湯呑です。異なった土や釉薬で創作された２種類の鼠志野湯呑ですが、#1は長石釉の厚みの違いで鼠色と白色がバランスよく混ざることで力強さが感じられ、#2は緋色が強く発色し、鬼板を描き落として描かれた部分がピンクの地肌がキュートな趣きです。
Nezumi shino teacup made by Masakazu Yamada of the long-established Hakusan Kiln in Toki City. These are two Nezumi Shino yunomi created using different clay bodies and glazes.
#1 conveys a strong, powerful presence through the balanced interplay of gray and white, created by variations in the thickness of the feldspar glaze.
#2 features a more vivid hiiro (pinkish fire color). The areas where the iron slip (onita) was carved away reveal a charming pink surface, giving the piece a soft and delightful character.
