土岐市で作陶を続ける白山窯、山田正和先生による粉引の珈琲カップです。
This is a Kohiki coffee cup by Masakazu Yamada of Hakusan Kiln, who continues to create ceramics in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture.
白化粧を施した肌に細かな貫入が現れ、その上から藍色の釉薬を流れるように掛けることで、独特の景色を生み出しています。白い肌に藍色が濃淡を伴って広がり、釉薬の流れや溜まりによって一つひとつ異なる表情を見せます。
The cup features a white slip surface with fine crackling, over which an indigo glaze has been applied in flowing strokes, creating a distinctive landscape. The indigo glaze varies in tone and gathers in places, producing a rich and expressive contrast against the white surface.
すっきりとしたフォルムに、力強い釉薬の景色が映える珈琲カップです。同じ粉引で仕上げられた受け皿とのセットで、普段使いの器としてもお楽しみいただけます。
The simple, clean form is beautifully complemented by the dynamic movement of the glaze. The cup comes as a set with a matching Kohiki saucer, making it a charming piece for everyday use.
