This highly popular Aishino Shochu Cup by Morio Asahi. While ideal for enjoying shochu, it also serves beautifully as a whisky tumbler or for any beverage of your choice.

藍志野は、長石釉とコバルト釉を組み合わせることで、鮮やかなコバルトブルーの中に白釉が美しく流れ落ちる、印象的な景色を生み出しています。さらに、鬼板粒をブレンドした土を使用することで、焼成によって黒く焼き締まった鬼板粒と深い藍色との美しいコントラストが生まれています。
Aishino is characterized by the harmonious combination of feldspar glaze and cobalt glaze, creating a striking cobalt-blue surface accented by graceful streams of white glaze. The clay body is blended with Onita (iron-rich clay particles), which fire to a deep black during the kiln process, producing a beautiful contrast against the rich indigo-blue glaze.

藍志野は旭守男先生が独自に創り上げたオリジナルの作風です。その代表作である藍志野茶碗は、2026年美濃茶碗展において東濃信用金庫賞を受賞するなど、高い評価と注目を集めています。
Aishino is an original style developed exclusively by Morio Asahi. Aishino tea bowls have attracted considerable attention, most notably receiving the Tono Shinkin Bank Award at the 2026 Mino Tea Bowl Exhibition, a prestigious recognition of their exceptional artistic quality.
