旭 守男作陶、浅黄志野 茶碗です。岐阜県土岐市で採取される柿野風化長石を釉薬に使うことで、釉薬に含まれる僅かな鉄分により純白ではなくやや黄色みがかって焼成しています。白やピンクの志野とは異なり、どことなく落ち着いた趣があります。
Usuki (pale yellow) shino teabowl made by Morio Ashahi. In the pottery stone from Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, known as Kakino weathered feldspar, when used as a glaze, the small amount of iron content in the glaze results in a firing effect that is not pure white but rather pale yellow. Unlike white or pink Shino ware, it has a subtly calm and understated character.
