谷口 治作陶、穴窯焼成 鼠志野ぐい吞です。本作品は緋色のゆず肌に白釉を掛けて表情がつけられています。また、あえて円柱に造形した志野ぐい吞は谷口先生の作品としては珍しいですが、見応えのある形をしています。谷口先生の作品はそのひとつひとつに一切の妥協を許していません。
Nezumi-Shino sake cup, fired in an hole kiln ("anagama"), made by Osamu Taniguchi. This piece features a vibrant scarlet yuzu-skin texture with a white glaze applied to create an expressive appearance. This sake cup is made in a cylindrical shape, which is rare for Taniguchi’s Shino work. It has an impressive and well-balanced form. Each and every one of Taniguchi's works is created without the slightest compromise.
