オーロラ織部は、普通に焼いて緑色にしか焼けないはずの織部の焼き方に変化を与えることで、まるで七色に煌めくオーロラが浮かび上がる小川先生のオリジナル作品です。
Aurora Oribe is an original creation by Ogawa, achieved by altering the standard Oribe firing technique—which typically produces only a green glaze—to evoke the appearance of a shimmering, multicolored aurora emerging on the surface.

本作品は、正面の窓に鉄絵を描き、その周囲がトルコブルーや艶やかなグリーンで飾られています。見込みにもオーロラが現れている逸品です。
In this piece, an iron-oxide pattern is painted on the front, framed by a lustrous blend of turquoise and vibrant green. The interior of the bowl also reveals the captivating aurora effect, making it an exceptional work of art.
