This is an Aurora Oribe Guinomi by Tetsuou Ogawa, wood-fired in an anagama kiln. A new work for the Summer 2026 collection.

通常の織部とは異なる還元焼成と長時間にわたる焼成によって生み出される景色は、一点ごとに大きく異なります。本作品は、織部特有の深みのある緑が炎と灰の作用によって青く窯変した部分と、茶褐色へと窯変した部分が美しく入り交じり、複雑で味わい深い表情を見せています。
The scenery created through an unconventional reduction firing process and prolonged firing varies dramatically from piece to piece. In this work, the deep green characteristic of Oribe has been transformed by the effects of flame and ash, creating beautiful areas of blue alongside warm reddish-brown tones. The interplay of these colors gives the surface remarkable depth and complexity.

正面に描かれた鉄絵が力強いアクセントとなり、見込みには宇宙が広がっているかのような幻想的な景色が広がります。星々やクレーターを思わせる表情が印象的で、オーロラ織部ならではの個性と魅力を存分にお楽しみいただける逸品です。
The iron-painted motif on the front serves as a bold visual accent, while the interior evokes the impression of a vast cosmos. Its star-like speckles and crater-like textures create a mysterious, celestial landscape, making this an exceptional work that beautifully expresses the unique character and appeal of Aurora Oribe.
