This is an Aurora Oribe Guinomi by Tetsuou Ogawa, wood-fired in an anagama kiln. A new work for the Summer 2026 collection.

通常の織部とは異なる還元焼成と長時間にわたる焼成によって生み出される景色は、一点ごとに大きく異なります。本作品は、織部特有の深みのある緑を残しながらも、茶褐色や紫色へと美しく窯変しており、複雑で味わい深い表情を見せています。
The scenery created through an unconventional reduction firing process and prolonged firing varies dramatically from piece to piece. This example retains the deep green characteristic of traditional Oribe while exhibiting beautiful kiln-induced transformations into reddish-brown and subtle violet tones, resulting in a rich and remarkably complex surface.

正面に描かれた鉄絵が力強いアクセントとなり、見込みには鮮やかな織部グリーンが広がります。落ち着いた色調の外観との美しい対比も見どころであり、オーロラ織部ならではの個性と魅力を存分にお楽しみいただける逸品です。
The iron-painted motif on the front provides a bold visual accent, while the interior reveals the vivid emerald green that is synonymous with Oribe ware. The striking contrast between the subdued exterior and the vibrant interior makes this an exceptional work that beautifully showcases the distinctive character and appeal of Aurora Oribe.
