小川 哲央作陶、穴窯焼成 志野ぐい吞です。
Shino guinomi (sake cup) made by Tetsuo Ogawa and fired in an anagama (wood-fired) kiln.

採掘から調合まで自身で行われた長石釉が用いられており、これぞ志野焼！と言わんばかりの緋色と白釉のコントラストや柚子肌が見どころな作品です。
This piece features a feldspar glaze personally prepared by the artist—from the mining of raw materials to the blending process. It showcases the quintessential characteristics of ”Shino”, with a striking contrast between the scarlet and white glazes, along with the distinctive yuzu-hada (citron-skin) texture.
