谷口 治作陶、穴窯焼成 志野ぐい吞です。緋色の地肌を薄く白釉で覆い全体が淡いピンクに包まれたような穏やかな作品です。そんな表装の中の鉄絵がアクセントになっています。谷口先生の作品は、そのひとつひとつに一切の妥協を許していません。

Anagama fired Shino sake cup made by Osamu Taniguchi. This is a gentle piece in which a scarlet clay body is lightly covered with white glaze, giving the whole work a soft pink hue. The iron painting within this subtle surface serves as an accent. Each and every one of　Taniguchi's works is created without the slightest compromise.
