谷口 治作陶、穴窯焼成、瀬戸黒ぐい吞。瀬戸黒茶碗で見かけることの多い円筒型をぐい吞で再現しています。丁寧に箆で成形され漆黒の梅花皮（かいらぎ）が見事な作品です。一切の妥協も許していない渾身の逸品です。
Setoguro sake cup fired in an hole kiln ("anagama"), made by Osamu Taniguchi. This guinomi (sake cup) recreates the cylindrical shape often seen in Setoguro tea bowls. Carefully shaped with a spatula, the piece features a stunning jet-black kairagi (toad-skin-like glaze). It is a masterpiece crafted with utmost dedication and without a hint of compromise.
