While vibrant Momoyama ceramics such as Setoguro, Shino, and Oribe were emerging, Kiseto was already established earlier, characterized by its calm and warm appearance. 黄瀬戸の魅力を一言で表すなら「凛として温かい、佇まいの美しさ」であり、後に登場する大胆な絵志野や織部のように華やかではないが、抑制のきいた上品な装飾が施されています。 If we were to describe the charm of Kiseto in a single phrase, it would be "a beauty of presence, dignified yet warm."
